Seeing a book their Nana wrote available on Amazon filled them with excitement. I am a proud mother of three, an accomplished researcher, speaker, and Technical Engineer at the Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC). I combine my technical expertise with a deep passion for sustainability and well-being, especially in educational environments, with a vision to create spaces that nurture and enhance people’s lives. At EmiratesGBC, I play a pivotal role in leading technical programs and fostering collaboration among government, public, and private sectors to promote a sustainable future. My work includes developing influential publications, organizing impactful events, and delivering workshops and trainings that drive best practices and innovation in green buildings. ​ Stemming from my passion and love to my children, and as part of my commitment to the next generation, I lead the EmiratesGBC Coalition for Green Schools Program, spearheading the development of a Sustainable School Guidance Booklet. This initiative supports UNESCO’s Greening Education Partnership, aiming to ensure children worldwide can learn and thrive in green schools designed for their well-being and development. Beyond my professional life, I channel my passion for children into storytelling. I am a children’s book author, with 4000 copies sold of my first book in just three years. Through my work and writing, I strive to create a world where children can grow in environments that inspire, protect, and empower them.

Meet Nour AKA Labelloo, a dedicated single mom, of one 7 year old boy named Samer, navigating single mother hood with a side of media and pilates. In her journey she will share tips on navigating her motherhood balancing work and partnership without losing it all. a Dubai native but second gen Lebanese Nour offers her fresh perspective of managing it all, while looking seamless altogether.

A seasoned professional in marketing and content writing, boasting over 17 years of experience in the UAE and Jordan. She holds a master’s degree in international business/marketing and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Jordan. Additionally, Mera is a Certified Product Marketing Manager by AIPMM and a Certified Content Marketer by CMI.   An entrepreneur working passionately to support struggling mothers worldwide. While using her talent in marketing, Mera launched Ummahat.net to give a voice for working mothers, empower them to maintain their careers by training them on Arabic content marketing and upgrading their skills to work remotely and ensure they’re in their haven close to their kids. Mera, in her earlier years worked with startups such as Sporter.com, Souq.com (Amazon), Abjadiyat mobile App for kids and KIDZONET.   As a trainer she conducted sevrral training workshops for clients such as MBC, Dubai Police and Al Mentor and she served more than 700 mothers within her journey at Ummahat.

Shahad is a corporate manager with over 14 years experience in the energy sector, where she covered roles in operations, sales, and marketing and received multiple local and global awards. Shahad believes that words carry emotions and power to make this world a better place and expresses this through her love of writing. This made her establish herself as a public speaker through Toastmasters and represent Oman in regional contests, making her an acclaimed speaker in the region. She continued to extend her love for words through teaching, as she is a local counsellor for a prestigious MBA program in Oman covering the marketing area. Shahad's true passion with words is in storytelling; growing up, she felt disconnected from how girls are represented in children's stories. The way they looked did not match her or the girls she knew, and they all seemed to fill a stereotype of waiting to be saved by a Prince Charming. This disconnect made Shahad's life purpose to become a children's book author and storyteller. Her first book, “Laila Has Stripes,” aims to celebrate girls who look different and deals head-on with the harms of bullying. The book has been widely well received by media in Oman and received great coverage, which created a platform for Shahad to reach a wider audience to advocate stories that represent girls in a way closer to society.
